Thanks for popping over.
Born and raised in the “Show-Me-State,” I’m a gal in love with all things lovely and literary. Creativity and books seem to seep into every corner and crevice of my life; if I’m not writing, I’m reading. If not reading, then I’m thinking about home design and decor, or rolling up my sleeves and doing it myself. I’m inspired by art, nature, architecture, old homes, psychology, music, and travel. I believe life should be celebrated from the grandiose to the obscure. Especially the obscure.
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
―Maya Angelou, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
I love all books that appear on my author interview series and am so very grateful to all the wonderful authors (and their lovely behind-the-scenes publicists) who so generously share their thoughts on craft, the various struggles of getting a book into print, and their words of wisdom.
THANK YOU, thank you, a THOUSAND TIMES, thank you!

If you’re curious about what books really resonated with me–for whatever reason–the prose, the interview, the the theme, the ‘oh la la-ness’ that really made my heart sing, and I could choose only ONE–here they are:
for in-depth coverage featuring these–and other fabulous–titles.
“I love books . I adore everything about them. I love the feel of the pages on my fingertips. They are light enough to carry, yet so heavy with worlds and ideas . I love the sound of the pages flicking against my fingers. Print against fingerprints. Books make people quiet, yet they are so loud”
