Thanks for the feedback from those of you who indicated what they liked best about Leslie4Kids blog. In appreciation for your readership and loyaly, I chose a name at random from the various comments received in the last week in response to the blog. The WINNER is ERIN V. of MINNESOTA! Your copy of the book, “If You Take a Mouse to School” is on it’s way!

What do readers like the most?! Hummm….it actually really surprised me. “In My Brain Today” was the #1 topic. Last week, I blogged about how much I hate the morning routine and got more hits than anything for about 10 consecutive days–152 hits in one day!! One reader said, “I like this one because I feel like it’s the ‘real’ you.” Well, it is…just a harried and cranky version of me. (I’m not always that way).
So….I guesss I won’t ditch that “column.”
But I am going to shake things up a bit. Tuesdays will now be “The Teacher is Talking” in which I share things with you that may help you and your children at school…being better readers, navigating the library, saying no to bullies, preparing for the parent-teacher conference….all kinds of good things. We’re saying good-bye to “A Little Literacy, Please.”
It’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays…so, I will introduce a new topic on Fridays in October which will cover the fall–>winter season of celebration. “Fiesta Fridays,” we’ll call it.
And that’s all for today. Thanks for reading!
